What I’m working with

The beginning is small enough to see clearly: a word list, a conversion script, a Firestore import and a React viewer with previous and next controls.

I’m keeping that modest first shape. A useful archive has room for the first awkward interface, not just the polished descendants.

Start with word-chain material in a spreadsheet and convert it to JSON.

Import the records

Use a Python script to put the puzzle records into Firestore.

Inspect the result

Browse records in a React viewer with previous and next controls.
