Design the operators
Keep recognizable bodies, fixed joints, grippers and tools that can be held clearly.
I’m following a small robot crew through an ordinary kitchen.

The designer wanted independent robot operators doing useful work, not appliances with faces. That decision changed the cast and the production plan.
Something Simple became a six-minute vignette with four operators, food-state references and 48 planned shots. Hands, tools and supported objects matter more here than decorative machinery.
Keep recognizable bodies, fixed joints, grippers and tools that can be held clearly.
Show how a robot holds a spatula, handles a plate or reaches a counter.
Carry the accepted designs into scene references, prompts and shot planning.

A utensil fused to an arm, an extra joint, or food that disappears is a failed reference. The production notes preserve those acceptance rules.
