I’m looking at the process list as a question, not just a column of numbers.

What I’m working with

IntelliMon pairs a Windows resource monitor with a local knowledge base. CPU, memory and disk activity tell the owner what is busy; process knowledge helps explain what it is.

Unknown processes can go through Gemini enrichment, with the explanation saved locally for the next encounter.

How it works

01

Watch activity

Collect process and resource information for a small Windows overlay.

02

Check local knowledge

Look up recognized processes in an offline SQLite database.

03

Explain the unfamiliar

Use Gemini enrichment for unknown processes and retain the structured result.

03 / Inside the project

Inside the project

  • Process metadata and knowledge storeIdentity matching, metadata collection and SQLite records.
  • Gemini process enricherThe AI integration behind unfamiliar-process explanations.

Where I leave it

The desktop application and enrichment code are in the archive. The next useful addition here is a walkthrough of the monitor doing its job.
