How I see the project

RSS Collector brought RSS and Atom sources into one public view. Feed configuration, blocked links and administration sat behind the reader. This is one of the earlier steps toward the owner’s broader news projects.

How it worked

Configure feeds

An administrator supplied RSS or Atom feed URLs.

Collect links

The public view displayed items from the configured feeds.

Hide unwanted items

Administrators could block a link in the collector without changing its upstream feed.

The original deployment instructions called for access protection on the admin routes. The schema included feed configuration, blocked links, and configuration state. This record does not fetch any feeds.
